There is such a desire within you to have a man fall in love with you; it turns men off.
The men you have dated in the past like you initially.
Notwithstanding, as he realizes that you are craving for him to fall in love with you far too soon, you come off as too desperate or overbearing.
When a guy deems you as too intent on being loved, it makes you seem as though you would be the kind who would be clingy and have no life of your own.
This is scary to him.
It forces him to visualize what a life with you over the long term would be like if he were your boyfriend.
He visualizes you constantly texting him and getting irate when he doesn’t reply within seconds of receiving your text messages.
On top of this, he visualizes you getting upset when he is hanging out with his friends and constantly calling or texting him to interrupt his time with said friends so as to get his attention and get him to cut that time short.
Additionally, he is fearful that you will keep requiring that he show you physical and emotional affection regardless of how he is feeling on any given day.
No matter what, you would expect him to give you this unrelenting affection, and without it, you could get moody often.
There is nothing worse for a guy than to come home after a hard day at work, not have the energy to give his girlfriend all the physical and emotional affection she is craving, and spend the rest of the night having to deal with her being upset and sulking.
This can become impossibly overbearing over time.
Whenever you are dating someone new, you are completely unaware that you give off this kind of overbearing energy once you start getting feelings for the guy.
A guy picks up on this overbearing energy relatively quickly.
This is why his enthusiasm for you starts waning a few weeks or months into courting you.
He goes from frequently texting you and setting up dates to no longer doing so as frequently.
When this reduction occurs, he is coming to the realization that you aren’t the person he thought you were originally.
All of a sudden, you are expecting his text messages within a certain time frame, when you weren’t this rigid in your expectations in the early days.
The same applies to the dates.
In the early days, you didn’t seem to care about seeing him once a week on a date, but now, you are making demands to see him much more frequently each week.
To him, it’s far too early for a girl he is courting to be expecting this kind of frequency in text messages and dates.
Soon, he realizes that you aren’t someone he can see himself in a long-term relationship with.
He might have initially, but based on how quickly your expectations of him have intensified, he realizes he has one of two options.
Either he cuts the cord and moves on from you or sees you as someone he can only have sexual relations with and nothing more.
This is why you have experienced several men who were initially courting you who ended up either ghosting you or using you for hookups and nothing more.
Sadly, your presumptuous behavior forced these guys to either not stick around long enough to fall in love with you or create a mental block where they could only allow themselves to look at you as a girl they sleep with.
You are better off not being so intent or desperate to get a guy to fall in love with you.
This requires you to exercise restraint with your emotions.
Give him the time to learn who you are and fall for you in the process.
Believe that you have the qualities that a man can fall in love with.
This starts with loving yourself.
When a man who is interested in you sees that you love yourself and you aren’t in such a hurry to get him to fall in love with you, it makes you that much more appealing in his eyes.
This keeps his interest in you piqued as he invests the time and money to get to know you by frequently communicating with you and taking you out on dates.
It is in this vein he ultimately falls in love with you.
