A woman expects to date a man who is financially stable.
A man she knows is capable of taking care of himself financially and, ultimately, her too.
The younger a woman is, the more flexible she is with this, but all in all, a woman’s preference would be to date a man who has money.
It doesn’t mean that you have to be rich.

The sad part is that so many of these men end up chocking their shortfall in girlfriends to their physical appearance, when there is so much more complexity to this.

Sadly, this is a defeatist attitude.
You want to give up so that you no longer have to keep facing rejection or disappointment from girls.
Calling it quits makes it ideal for you to latch on to an excuse.
The excuse that you did everything you could, and unfortunately, you weren’t able to find any potential partners.

Height and face are the primary factors in physically attracting women.
Dark hair is a plus, but it isn’t all that much of a factor, should any one of the prior factors be missing.
Assuming the three extremes where she has to pick between a short guy with a handsome face, a tall guy who doesn’t have a handsome face, or a guy that is neither tall nor handsome, but has dark hair, she is choosing the short guy with the handsome face.
Women don’t want to have to choose a guy based on these extremes.

It’s not that they don’t like muscular men, it’s more so that they don’t want to date a guy who is more into building muscles than being a good boyfriend to them.
Women aren’t lying when they convey their misgivings about what it was like dating a muscular man in the past.
He is at the gymnasium for hours, missing out on time with her.
While at the gym, he is constantly taking photos of himself, sweaty and with his muscles popping, and posting said photos on his social media, with the intent of garnering compliments and follows from a wide audience, many of whom are female.
