Is It Okay That Your Boyfriend Texts Other Girls?

There should be no need for your boyfriend to text other girls.

He has you.

In texting other girls, he is demonstrating that you aren’t enough for him.

He wants and craves the attention of these other girls.

An acceptable age gap when dating depends on what works for you and a potential mate.

An appropriate age gap isn’t arbitrary.

That said, the wider the age gap, the greater the controversy.

For example, a 15- to 20-year age gap opens you up to criticism and judgment from family, friends, and people at large.

There is an exasperation that you are experiencing over the thought of using dating apps, bars, or clubs to meet guys.

You have already tried these, and the outcomes have not been favorable.

The dating apps seem to be filled with men who aren’t taking dating seriously and only want to flirt, exchange nude photos, or hook up.

The bars and clubs aren’t all that different.

Much of this fear of dating is based on insecurities you have.

There is anxiety about being a disappointment to whoever you go out on a date with.

You don’t consider yourself adequate enough or worthy of dating.

These are self-esteem issues that you must work on, as building a positive sense of self is critical.

Basically, he can’t go for long without texting or calling, even if he doesn’t have much time to talk on every instance.

It’s as though he requires some sort of interaction with you, no matter how short, to feel good.
