You shouldn’t be waiting on someone to text you to start with.

I know, you are excited.

You want to hear from him so bad.

Nevertheless, that attitude doesn’t do you any favors.

When you are waiting on someone to text you, you are basically putting your life on hold.

Sure, you are going about your activities and talking to folks in your life.

But you aren’t fully engaged.

In the forefront of your thoughts, you are concerned with when this guy is going to text you.

You aren’t fully present to what you are doing or fully present to your life.

This is the wrong attitude.

It sends the wrong energy and this guy is bound to pick up on it.

Should he so happen to text you and get the sense that you have been waiting around hoping to hear from him, he is getting turned off.

This means that you are waiting for even longer for his next text.

Do not be concerning yourself with how long you should wait to get a text from him before moving on.

A guy that is genuinely interested in a woman doesn’t wait for several days on end to text her.

He texts her within a day or two.

If more than a day or two has elapsed, he isn’t as interested in you as you would hope.

This doesn’t mean you won’t hear from him.

To be frank, there is a good probability that you do.

A week or two from now, you are doing something at home or you are at work and all of a sudden you receive a text from him.

Yes, this is possible.

It happens all the time.

But it doesn’t mean that the guy is interested in you on a serious level.

With that much of a gap in communication, he is looking to get his ego boosted in contacting you.

He knows that you have been desperate to hear from him.

He remembers how receptive you were to him the last time he texted you.

Now that he is bored and has some time to kill, he texts you.

Don’t take the bait.

He is using you.

It has been a week or two since the last time he texted you.

What do you think he has been doing during that time?

He hasn’t been thinking about you.

He has been living his life and hobbies.

And having dates with girls.

Yes, that too.

Keep in mind that he didn’t text you on a desire to want to get to know you and take you out.

It would do you a lot of good to avoid texting him back.

To reiterate, a guy who is interested in you won’t go for a week or two without contacting you.

The longer a guy takes to text you, the less interest he has in you.

A guy who texts you within a day or two is showing a high level of interest in you.

A guy who goes for several days, a week or more to text you has low to no interest.
