A girl that has access to weapons falls into two main categories.

The first category is that of a girl whose sole motivation for having access to weapons is to protect herself.

She believes that having access to weapons gives her the final say.

She doesn’t want to ever be in a position where she has to exercise that final say.

In a home invasion situation, her first thought is to call the police rather than head for the small handgun in her closet.

The same mindset applies to a situation where she is in fear of being assaulted on the street.

As long as she has sufficient time, she would prefer calling the police in that moment, rather than reach for the small handgun in her purse.

She doesn’t want to ever be in a situation where she is forced to use her weapon as a last resort.

A situation that calls for her to use her weapon is resulting in serious injury or death for either herself or the perpetrator.

This is a nightmare scenario she never wants to confront.

Usually, this is a woman that has either been a victim of violence, witnessed violence being committed against someone she knows, or been privy to information about the universality of violence where she so happens to live or work.

She wants to be proactive in protecting herself so that she is never a victim to violence.

Although she has access to weapons, she doesn’t talk about her weapons ad nauseum.

She isn’t the type that suddenly opens a conversation about weapons while she is at a dinner date with you, passionately talking about her love for her weapons, and proudly divulging the individual names she has given each and every one of them.

This would be the woman that falls in the next category.

A woman that isn’t strictly about protecting herself, but is a weapons enthusiast.

An aficionado so to speak.

She brings up the topic about weapons without any prompting.

She talks about her first experience with weapons and proceeds to give you a play by play about her love affair with her own weapons.

This includes the gun club that she is an avid member of, and the gun range she goes to every weekend.

As a weapons buff, she has wide-ranging knowledge about her weapons.

She knows the models that have the deadliest effect, and those that are the least deadly.

Her weapons are a way of life for her.

There is a bravado she has whenever she talks about them.

Instead of ruing the day she ever has to use them for protection, she is looking forward to it.

This is a very different type of woman than the one in the first category, who is solely concerned with personal protection and self-defense.

Neither one of these women are inherently good or bad, as long as they abide by the law.

If weapons make you queasy, the woman that is a weapon’s enthusiast isn’t a good match for you.

If you aren’t queasy about weapons, either one of these women have the potential to be a good match.

It amounts to who connects with you most fittingly.
