Hi Justin,
Sometimes, a girl will avoid you on purpose when she likes you but tends to get nervous whenever she knows that you are around. There are shy girls who will purposely avoid a guy because they lack the confidence to make eye contact. They worry that getting close to the guy would be too awkward for them and they may end up doing something that gives away the fact that they like the guy.
