Why he was cold tonight ?

We are seeing each other for a very long time. He asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend, to travel together, to be together all the time, I didn’t answer him.
A month ago he asked me if I love him and I said yes.
He was a little suspicious because he has been asking me for months do I love him and my ansewer was always no. He asked me when, how much, why … He asked me why I don’t want to be his girlfriend.
We saw each other two weeks ago, we had a couple of drinks. He told me he loves me.
He said “Do you want to get pregnant, to be my wife?” He asked me a couple of times. Then he asked me if I wante to be his wife, to be together every day. He asked me a couple of times if I wanted to be his wife but I didn’t answer anything. He told me he was moving to another city. And if I would come to his appartment.
After that we saw each other. He wanted me to get pregnant. He asked me if I wanted a child, if I was ready and I said no. He was quiet in the car.
Last night when we saw each other he was happy to see me but he was a little cold afterwards. He hardly spoke in the car, he was distanced. He didn’t mention anything, he didn’t ask me to be his girlfriend or his wife, he asked me those questions every time when I was with him.
Why he was cold? Did he change his mind ?
