He has Been a family friend since I was about 10 years old. Now we’re older, he lives quite far so we check up on each other here and there but ever since two weeks ago he doesn’t seem to want to end the conversation. He’ll ask me questions like we’re just getting to know each other, Nd ask me to elaborate, etc. We send about two snaps a day, every day on snap chat and it’s like a never ending conversation. Nothing is forced but I personally think I like him and I just don’t know how he feels. If anything does happy, my family (brothers especially) will be super excited. He apologises for late replies, sometimes shows me a video of where’s he’s at and tells me why he replied late.
I can easily read into a lot of what he does but I’m trying not to

He takes quite long to reply hence the communication twice a day, idk if it’s on purpose. However I do the same thing too just to not seem eager. But he always replies and keeps the conversation going. That shouldn’t really give me doubt that he likes me but it still does.
Don’t doubt too much
If he is constantly trying to keep the conversation going, asking you questions about yourself, asking you to elaborate-these are very good signs that he likes you and is interested in you.
On top of that you said that when he replies late he always gives you an excuse and explains himself. This is also another strong sign of interest.
At this point don’t worry too much and allow things to unfold naturally.
I’m not saying to convince yourself that you two will definitely be in an official relationship in the future.
Only time will give you that answer.Enjoy the present and don’t think too much about it.

Hi again. Hope all is well. I wanted to ask what you thought. We’re still talking. We still talk everyday day ever since last time I asked a question. However it’s still normal conversations he’s not really saying anything about liking me he just keeps in contact and asks about my day (we speak everyday, random conversations). Been like this since the 11th of april and I have to admit I like him. I really really do now but I personally can not tell him that in case the feeling isn’t mutual. I can say in terms of talking we’re both mutually interested we keep the conversation going effortlessly but I personally like him and I care about how he feels about me. I kinda don’t want to know because I won’t handle the rejection well. I’m just waiting for him to say… it. What do you think?
