Doesn't care?

I told the guy I’m dating for almost four months now that one of my good guy friends wants to date me
romantically. He said he doesn’t care and acted like what it had to do with him. Does this mean he doesn’t take our relationship seriously or does he just trust me?

He may not take his relationship with you seriously.

He may feel that his relationship with you is more casual than serious and thereby he doesn’t really care if you want to date someone else.

This would also indicate that he may be currently dating or talking to other girls as well.
