Continued stares. Help please

Hey, So there’s this guy who works in the same building as me and whenever he see’s me he just stares. And it’s been going on for a looong time. It’s just a long stare, way past the 5 sec mark.
I usually see him in the morning or during lunch and I have said hi once, nothing was said back to me and have smiled but nothing was returned he just kept staring.
For instance the the first time I saw him, we were both with colleagues he just stared me out. I assumed he was looking at my colleague but no.
Another time he just happened to get the same bus as me, and when I was sitting down looking around he was just staring at me but then he raised his eyebrows at me and I smiled and that was it.
I don’t instigate the staring I just find him looking like when I’m going about my business.
Help please!! Does he think I’m a weirdo or does he fancy me??

Would you like it if all of a sudden he started talking to you and asked you out even though all he has done is stare? I need to know this for research purposes.

Well I wouldn’t mind it all if he started talking to me. I’m not a scary person haha. And It would be nice to know why.
I’ve wanted to ask I’m, just out of the blue, but I thought nah that may come across as weird haha.
To be honest at first I thought his staring was strange but then I started to fancy him a bit.

I found myself in a similar situation by accident. My first guess was that she noticed me because she recognized me. I’m not a celebrity but get frequently approached by people who recognize me because they saw me skating and were impressed lol. It’s possible that she does fancy me a bit though. I suppose I fancy her a bit if she remained on my thoughts.

Yeah he should talk to you not sure what’s gotten into him… Perhaps his inner dialogue isn’t being kind to him which stops him from talking to you. Not sure what’s gotten into me since I’ve been talking to people more than I used to and my inner dialogue has been kind to me.

Thanks for your response. Okay so it could be his inner dialogue, got it haha. But he could also be shy. Well I guess I shall see how it goes maybe I’ll try and strike up a conversation with him or maybe he might bite the bullet and just go for it. If someone’s on your mind for quite awhile then yeah you have the hots for them haha. Thanks for your advice 🙂

Yes I guess that would be funny, then I would understand the no talking. But then why would he be staring if he did have a girlfriend. Sure you can people watch but to continue staring out a girl (all the time) while in a relationship…I dunno about that haha. You know, that thought has never crossed my mind haha

Yeah if it’s in the realm of possibilities then it’s possible. I’ve learnt to quickly be ok with the reality of a situation. Good to know that you’ll update us because I’m invested in your story at this point haha

I smiled at my fascination, she smiled and teleported over and said Hi so I said Hello. She didn’t look me in the eyes.. My inner dialogue was telling me not to say “look me in the eyes dear” so I would have said “you intrigue me” but she teleported again. Like where you going ?

She said Hi in English though.. nobody does that here. I know how she figured out that I speak English though… Great investigative work on her part.

Way I see it we’re saying hi which is more than what you and your guy are doing.

Perhaps I could get her to follow me on Instagram next time lol. I found that exchanging Instagrams is more interesting than exchanging phone numbers. To start a conversation you can scroll through their pictures until you find something you like and talk about that.

Yeah you’re way ahead of me with your crush lol. It’s good that things are at a good place with the both of you. I think you should add her on a instagram, obvs she must like you since she found out you speak English, hence the investigating. Adding her on instagram would be a good ice breaker (either one of you could DM) Now I want to know what happens with you and this girl haha. Nothing’s going on down my end, so just let us know what’s going on down yours 🙂
