Hi there, two months ago I went to a clinic and met a wonderful doctor. I thought I made him uncomfortable because I questioned his knowledge at one point. But I was not aggressive and was feminine in manner. He helped me that day and I hadn’t gone back to him since.

A month later I was picking up something at the clinic. I walked down the hallway reading something and noticed from my periphery someone at the end of the hallway. When I finally decided to look up I realized he had stopped walking and looked at me, then walked away while still looking at me. I wasn’t sure about his expression though

Is this a sign of interest?

Also even though I know doctors usually can’t date their patients, is there a way to approach him indirectly?

    Hi Arisa,

No, it isn’t necessarily a sign of interest.

He may have stopped walking and looked at you, then walked away while still looking at you because he thought he recognized you and was trying to determine that as he was looking at you.

A way you can approach him indirectly may be to approach him with a question and while he is answering it, you can try flirting with him lightheartedly to see how he responds to it. If he responds, there may be an opening there for you to move the conversation into more personal topics.
