Hi Shy Teen,

Indeed, it can be hard to make sense of some of the things that teenage boys do.

However, in your circumstance, you shouldn’t be worried about whether or not he likes you due to how close he is to this other girl.

He may feel a lot more comfortable having conversations and hugging this other girl because he is not romantically interested in her.

Guys are often a lot more relaxed with girls they are not romantically interested in than with girls that they are, especially teenage boys.

You are the one that he teases.

Oftentimes, when a guy consistently teases a girl, he is trying to gauge the girl’s reaction.

He is fishing for clues that she may be interested in him.

Being that he has called you beautiful twice and looked at your legs, there is a good chance that he is attracted to you.

He may have ran away with the paper and thrown it in the trash because he didn’t want you to know who it was that wrote that they love you.

The fact that he was the one who ran away with the paper would strongly indicate that he is the one who wrote that he loves you.

If it was his friend that wrote it, he wouldn’t have had any reason to run away with the paper and throw it away.

If anything, he would have shown you the paper and mocked his friend for loving you.

This teenage boy seems to like you but is very shy about letting you know that.

There may be a part of him that is worried that you may not like him and is fearful that if he were to let you know that he likes you, he will be rejected.
