You don’t.

It is going to take time to know that he is the one.

This is why you should avoid believing that he is the one too soon.

Love can make the brain begin to believe in what makes you feel good a bit too prematurely.

The dopamine in your brain may be setting off a lot of pleasure triggers that only get you more and more excited about this guy and blinded to the possibility that you could be wrong.

In essence, at this moment, you shouldn’t allow your emotions and your level of excitement to get the best of you.

The test of time is truly what allows you to know whether you are with the one or not.

He has to be there for you in good times and in bad. He has to observe you at your worst and vice versa.

You have to be together long enough to face challenges that could easily derail any relationship and yet the both of you pull through it in a positive way.

Another good way to know that he is the one is in how well-adjusted the both of you are in your relationship.

When there is a strong sense of connection to the point where you are both comfortable being around each other without feeling the pressure to constantly have to show each other how much you love each other, you may have found the one.

There is that underlying sense of understanding between the both of you that lets you both know just how much you care about each other.

You could even be apart because of work or other priorities but yet, you both still feel that rock solid connection.

Again, there is that underlying sense of comfort that you both feel for each other regardless of whether you are in the same room or continents apart.

Also, another good way to know that he is the one is in how he treats the people that you care about in your life.

If you notice that he truly cares about them and goes out of his way to get to know them and build relationships with them, there is a good chance that he is the one.

He is essentially showing that these are the people in your life and thereby, they will be the people in his life because he sees himself being with you for a good long while, if not forever.

All this being said, again, it is important to understand that to truly determine if he is the one, you both need to stand the test of time.

You need to observe your relationship over time and go through the trials that come with every relationship.
