Now, one of the best ways to tell that he actually wants to move in with you is in what he tells you.

He will typically drop hints in conversation.

If he has an apartment lease that is coming to an end of its term, he may start asking you about whether you think he should renew the lease.

If you notice that he has brought up this topic quite often, there is a chance that he is trying to gauge where your mind is.

He may be hoping that you tell him to move in with you.

Also, if he often talks about how he is tired of his roommate and wishes he had another, this could also be a hint that he is trying to gauge your opinion on moving in with you.
