If a girl winks at you with a smile and lingers, there is a very good chance that she is interested in you or is attracted to you.
The winking may be her way of showing this kind of interest. It may be what she is comfortable doing.
This may be how she often shows a guy that she is interested in him romantically.
Now, you really have to be careful about knowing whether she was actually winking at you.
You may be so enamored by this girl that you will believe anything you see coming from her direction as a sign of romantic interest in you.
She may not have winked at you. She may have simply blinked or squinted.
You really have to understand where your emotions are at the moment. You don’t want to get carried away with what you want or desire. You have to be willing to understand the reality of your situation.
If you like this girl so much, you can easily look for signs of romantic interest that aren’t really there.
If you thought she winked at you but aren’t quite sure, you may want to give it another opportunity before you make a definitive judgment.
In other words, you may be better off waiting for another wink or sign of romantic interest before you decide that she winked at you.
This is not necessary if she did what I described earlier.
If she winked at you with a smile and lingered in your direction, she most certainly likes you.
However, if you are not quite sure that she winked at you, it all seemed too quick, you may want to wait this out and observe her romantic body language in the near future.
If she keeps looking your way or even gives you another wink, this is most likely your confirmation that she likes you.
Again, you really have to understand what a romantic wink will be like.
It is typically not too quick of a wink.
A quick wink can be just as easily done to convey some kind of acknowledgment of someone or something as it can be used to convey possible romantic interest.
Thereby, the slower the wink is, the better your chances that she is actually interested in you romantically.
When the wink is slower, she is most likely hoping that you notice it. She is making it slower because she wants you to be able to tell that she is showing romantic interest so that you can consequently make a move on her.
If she winks too fast, you may miss it.
A girl who is intent on showing you that she is romantically interested in you would typically want you to catch the wink the first time around.
She may not want to consequently keep winking at you because you didn’t catch the first one. It may get too obvious or just plain awkward.
Hence, she would focus on giving you the best and most obvious first wink she can in the hopes that you get the message of interest that she is sending your way.
If the girl winks at you and follows that with a gentle nod, she is indicating strong romantic interest.
This is her telling you that she approves of what she sees.
Even better, if she nods to her left or right, she is basically telling you to come over and talk to her.
